Qavita mediates housing on behalf of various private property owners. We follow the respective property owner’s rental policy and requirements when we broker housing. We do not work with waiting times and unfortunately cannot estimate how long it may take before you are offered a home. Getting a permanent home through us can take anything from a couple of months up to 2 years or more.

How it works?

Here we will explain step by step how it works 

Start by booking Qavita VIP Services and create an ad “looking for rental apartment” on Plavito, if you haven’t already done so. In your profile, you have the opportunity to introduce yourself to the landlord by telling about yourself and what you wish to rent, e.g. location, number of rooms, rent/month, date of entry, etc. 

What does it cost?

You pay a one-time fee (brokerage commission) 10% of one year’s rent, and in many cases, it’s money well spent. You may deduct brokerage cost  and expenses in connection with your advertising on Plavito. The sum can vary from 10% to 50% of a year’s rent in cash, depending on where the property is located and how much rent you are prepared to pay.

Register

To get a home through Qavita, you need to book Qavita mediation and create an ad “Looking for rental property” with your wishes on Plavito, if you haven’t already done so.

VACANT APARTMENTS

Your personal agent at Qavita, search actively and register your interest for vacant apartments. How long it takes to get an apartment varies depending on where you want to live and how much you can afford to pay.

Go for viewing

Offer to view is sent by email usually to 5 applicants. The offer contains contact details for the person showing the apartment. If it is new production, there is possibility of Fysisk visning.

Leave a reply

After the viewing, you need to answer yes or no to whether you are still interested in the home. The easiest way to do this is on My pages. Your offer states the date by which you must submit your response.

Income basis

You need to show a certificate proving that you meet the property owner’s requirements in order for you to be offered the home. Therefore, be prepared with income information. Income is money you receive. This is, for example, salary from work, child support, student allowance, housing allowance, subsistence allowance, sickness benefit, social security fund and pension.

Write a contract

The rental contract is sent to your specified email address for signature. The contract is signed on the spot. The contract must be signed within the specified response time. When you receive a contract through us, you are automatically deregistered from the website.
